Our friends from Modern Anthology recently threw a launch party to introduce an exclusive range of leather options to the iconic Inheritance Furniture Collection by Los Angeles based designer, Stephen Kenn.
The event was held at Modern Anthology’s second retail location in Boreum Hill, Brooklyn – Delicious cocktails were enjoyed while guests mingled around the stunning new pieces by Stephen Kenn made exclusively for Modern Anthology (an independent men’s lifestyle shop and design studio).
According to John Marsala of Modern Anthology, “We brought our interior design sensibilities to the table and became a conduit to connect Stephen Kenn, whose heirloom goods and timeless furniture we’ve long been fans of, with Moore & Giles, retail partners and friends at the 83-year old Virginia based leather company with a long history of producing quality leather for the furniture and aviation industry.”
Featuring six unique and full grain leather options by Moore & Giles, including Americana Brown, Potomac Tan, Brentwood Red Oak, Brentwood Navy and Valhalla Dove; each carefully milled natural hide was selected to perfectly complement Stephen’s Inheritance Collection of timeless chair and sofas.
Composed of steel welded frames, webbing belts, smooth leather straps, and simple bucket details, each domestically crafted piece is available in a range of customizable finish options and made-to-order in 6-8 weeks.
