The Manual, The Essential Guide for Men, announced the formation of the first annual Manual Awards, an honor bestowed on eight great American cities and the best food, beverage and grooming establishments found in each. An eight-week celebration – from February 1 through March 21 – will take place at winning businesses and be supported online at The Manual, an aspirational-living site dedicated the modern male.
Moore & Giles is proud to partner with The Manual, sponsoring the awards that highlight these eight amazing American cities for 2016: Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; New York, NY; Portland, OR; San Francisco, CA; and Seattle, WA. The Manual Awards celebrate businesses in categories offering strong male appeal: Best Bar; Best Brew; Best Restaurant; Best Coffee Shop; Best Shop, Best Barber; and Best Local Brand.
“The goal of The Manual Awards is to help guys navigate great business establishments in cities we know our readers would love to visit or live in,” explains Cator Sparks, The Manual’s Editor-in-Chief. “By mixing rising star cities along with proven American favorites, our users can find out the best local spots to check out to help maximize all that these great cities have to offer.”
Winning establishments were chosen by both the editorial staff from The Manual and visitors to the site’s Facebook fan page. Each business will feature in-store signage and have their establishments promoted on the site and on social media.
